Working in your local community, you will assist vulnerable and elderly individuals with daily tasks to enable them to maintain their independence in their own home.
Duties can include:
Personal Care - involves assisting the service user with tasks of a more sensitive nature such as bathing, showering, dressing, toileting and night-sitting.
Practical (Domestic) Care - the aim of this service is to provide support for the service user with tasks such as shopping, cleaning, bed making and laundry.
Nutritional Care - involves assisting service users with preparation of hot meals, eating, food hygiene and menu planning.
No experience necessary as full training will be provided to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care including an accredited induction training.
Hours are flexible but are we are especially interested in applicants who can work early mornings, evenings or weekends.
Travel expenses will be paid at 29 pence per mile.
