Welcome to the Learning Curve Coffee & Craft Shop!
The Learning Curve Coffee & Craft Shop was opened in Talbot Green on 14th February 2005. With its homely ambience and friendly welcome, the coffee shop has proved to be a popular success with the locals.
The new summer menu includes a wide range of sandwiches and baguettes, light bites, cooked breakfasts and speciality coffees. So next time you are in Talbot Green, why not call in and enjoy what's on offer!
What is the Learning Curve concept?
Learning Curve's concept was developed to introduce individuals with learning difficulties in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area, to a real work situation. Whilst running and maintaining a successful coffee shop, trainees learn new skills and build self-esteem that helps and encourages them throughout all walks of life.
The idea was initiated by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council and implemented by Q Care Ltd. On 14th February 2005, after a lot of hard work, time and effort, the two organisations were proud to cut the ribbon of the newly opened Learning Curve⢠Coffee & Craft Shop!
So far, the coffee shop has successfully seen 41 trainees pass through its doors. For the majority of these, it has been the stepping stone that has lead them to move on by accepting full time employment with other businesses in the area. Needless to say, with such an achievement under our belts - we are very proud of what we do and who we work with!
