Hospice of the Valleys. Our Charity of the Year 2011 - £565

Hospice of the Valleys are a fantastic charity supporting people with cancer and life limiting illnesses. The Hospice make no charge whatsoever for the service they provide and without the help of donations they would be unable to continue providing support and care to people and their families.

In support of the Hospice we embarked on our own 3 peaks challenge in South Wales. We split the challenge so everyone could push themselves, so either you completed all 3 peaks or worked really hard to climb the highest on its own.

Everyone did brilliantly with sponsorship, had a brilliant day and we all completed the challenge.

Children In Need - £403

Children In Need make a real difference to the lives of children across the UK. They do this by providing grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged.

In support of Children In Need we had a whole host of things going on! We had fancy dress in our offices, a hoola hoop contest and batches of lush cakes and treats for sale.

Macmillan Cancer Support - £120

One in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you’ll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way.

Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.
