Q Care's Training Centre
To guarantee every support worker is trained to the highest standard, Q Care’s own in-house training centre provides all the necessary training programmes required, to ensure an excellent service that meets national minimum care standards.
Training programmes include:
- Health and Social Care QCF Levels 2 to 4
- Registered Managers Award
- A1 and V1 award (the Assessor and Internal Verifer Award for people assessing QCFs)
Training is also available for the following:
- Health and Safety
- People Handling and Risk Assessment
And for support workers working with:
- People with terminal illness
- People who have suffered a stroke
- People with infectious and contagious diseases
- People with dementia
- People with challenging behaviour
- People from ethnic minority communities and religious groups
- Children and their families, including child protection and prevention; detection of child abuse
- People with special communication needs
- People with dual sensory loss
- Older people with complex health care needs
- People with learning disabilities
- People with mental health problems including people subject to guardianship and supervision orders under the Mental Health Act.
